Believe it or not, progressive rock, aka PROG, is alive and well in the Philippines . It’s not mainstream and it is rock without the rock lifestyle.

Progeny is a documentary about Progressive Rock in the Philippines. Created and directed by Daphne Oliveros. The video was created about 2 years ago and I am just now discovering it. It covers PROG with a little bit of history, what progressive rock music is about and what it means to the people who plays it.
